On 1st August 1987 the "Samantha Fox" album was released in the UK.
Anticipated by the singles "Nothing's Gonna Stop Me Now" and "I Surrender (To The Spirit Of The Night)", the follow-up to the massive "Touch Me" LP featured collaborations with Full Force and Stock-Aitken-Waterman.
This self-titled work reached #22 in the UK Album Sales and remained in the chart for 6 weeks.
Highest ranking was in Norway and Switzerland at #3.
In 2009 the US record label Wounded Bird re-released the album with 6 bonus tracks, while in 2012 Cherry Pop repackaged it on a stunning 2CD box set format including a total of 30 tracks, newly designed CD graphics and a booklet with notes written for each song by Samantha herself.
